The way I see it, major builds (b28, b29, b30) focus on content and adding features, and the smaller updates (b29.3, b30.1, etc) update the bypasses, and sometimes fix crashes / bugs.
When b30 released, they had bypassed scaffold + timer (could go 10.0 timer whilst scaffolding undetected), yet that update took around 3 weeks (probably more) to release, with so few features, and the big update Flux just got, didn't really update bypasses. Now Flux is a beautiful client, and when the new bypasses come out, they are insane. However, updates are very slow, and when something is patched you have to wait a while for the updated bypasses. I have purchased Flux and the recent update (B31) has shown potential since they now have a scripting API, so you can make your own bypasses.
